HOMEGROWN FESTIVAL CALL FOR LOCAL ARTISTS AND PERFORMERS

 

Are you a local artist or performer of any kind? Between the 9th and 18th of October the Upper Don Arts Community are planning to arrange the 2026 HomeGrown Arts Festival in Stocksbridge, Oughtibridge, Wharncliffe Side, Bolsterstone, Deepcar and Midhope. If you would like to take part, here is what you need to do.

The Festival team have funds to promote and advertise events during the festival. So if you arrange to give a display, run a workshop, produce a performance or set up an exhibition, we can help you identify a local venue and help you sort out the details. We can even provide insurance cover for your event if you don't already have it. You can charge entry for your event, or put on something for free once you have a suitable space.

This is a rare opportunity to showcase your work, or recruit new members for your choir or band, or simply help us celebrate the rich arts and culture diversity in the Don Valley. It is important you let us know you are interested in getting involved as soon as possible. You can do this by simply sending us an email to let us know you're thinking of doing something, then we'll follow up with you.
